After more than a decade leading the Pico Union Project, I’ve stepped away from the day-to-day leadership of the organization Louise and I founded. It was time for a new chapter.

Together, we transformed the oldest synagogue building in Los Angeles into a place where neighbors could gather, serve, and care for one another. I’m deeply grateful that the work continues—and that the spirit of compassion and community remains at its heart.

I’ll be returning to writing songs, creating new projects, collaborating, and bringing people together through music, stories, and conversation.
